Harry Robinson is a freelance composer for games and visual media, a musician for TikTok, a sound designer for S&G, and a purveyor of whimsy. He is currently studying Music and Sound Design at Manchester Metropolitan University.
He has been writing original music inspired by classic and contemporary games from the age of 14, and aggressively analysing VGM on the side since plunging into the rabbit hole of YouTube music theory (8-bit Music Theory, Sideways, Charles Cornell) – he has not since recovered. He has also been performing as a guitarist for 15+ years.
Covering a variety of compositional styles, his music takes inspiration from the vibrant orchestral worlds of Joe Hisaishi and Debussy, the harmonic liberalism of early JRPGs, and the fanatical joy of jazz fusion.
